SHIPPING
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking number of your package. It will be shipped via DHL EXPRESS. All our products ship from our fulfillment partner in the USA to the destination of your choice around the globe. The time frame for delivery is calculated from the time your order is dispatched, not from the time your order was placed. Deliveries may be subject to delays during holidays and festivities.
Dispatch of the in stock items ordered on LAKITE takes place within 1-2 business days from the time of the order. In detail:
CANADA DELIVERY
All our Canada orders are delivered by the brilliantly efficient team at DHL. All Canada orders will be delivered 1-2 days upon order confirmation. Delivery includes tracking details and requires a signature upon arrival.
All our central and southern Americas orders are delivered by the amazing team at DHL. All Express Delivery orders will be delivered approximately 2-3 working days after the dispatch date. Delivery includes tracking details and requires a signature upon arrival.
All other international deliveries are fulfilled by DHL. All other international orders will be delivered approximately 2-5 working days upon order confirmation. Delivery includes tracking details and requires a signature upon arrival.
INTERNATIONAL deliveries may be forwarded onto 3rd party handlers. Details and tracking for this are always provided in the confirmation of dispatch email. Please contact 3rd party handler to re-arrange delivery if you have missed it.
*Please note Lakite provides tracking details for every order shipped. We expect customers to use tracking to ensure completed delivery. Customers may be liable to additional shipping fees after the 2nd failed attempt of delivery to the customer.
*Please note DHL have GPS tracking with their drivers to ensure prevention of lost or delivery to wrong addresses.
Should you fail to accept your delivery, we are entitled to charge you in full for an amount equal to the items contained in your order and the cost of delivery. If the order is returned to us, you will be eligible for the shipping costs
Customs and duties are the customer's responsibility. If an item is returned and Lakite is issued with an invoice, we will deduct this from your refund amount/ credit note. We will communicate this with you, so please ensure refund processes are followed to avoid this. If you need our assistance with organising a collection, just let us know in the request.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Please note Lakite can not take responsibility for delays due to customs clearance. Unfortunately this is beyond our control. Orders do not include possible taxes and duties which may be applied by customs authorities on delivery into your country. Import Duties and Taxes are the responsibility of the customer. If you fail to comply with customs and consequently the parcel is returned to Lakite you will be liable for the additional fee’s charged for return and re-delivery.
For more information on what duties and taxes may be payable by you prior to the delivery of your parcel, we strongly recommend checking your local customs website or contacting them directly prior to placing your order.
BACKORDER AND SPECIAL ORDERS
Special orders and Backordered items take 4 to 5 weeks for production, and an additional 2 to 3 days for delivery through DHL. If a customer wishes to customize their pair, a 30% extra fee will be charged on the order. Kindly contact orders@lakite.co to place a special order.
