PRE-PURCHASE

What cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. 

Do you accept PayPal?

Yes, we accept payment via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can register for a new account by visiting the PayPal website.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes, your personal information will be treated with care and is only transferred via a secure server connection. No financial information is held on our systems. We are a member of "Verified by Visa" and "Secure by Mastercard" which provide additional security when using your payment cards for online purchases. What currencies do you accept?

We accept payments in US/CAD Dollars, Pounds Sterling, Euro and Australian Dollars.

PURCHASE

When will my order be shipped?

Once the product you have purchased on pre-order arrives into stock, we aim to send this out next working day on your chosen method of delivery at time of ordering. 

Will I be charged custom fees/How much are the custom fees?

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. We recommend contacting your local customs office for current charges before you make an order, to avoid any unexpected charges. If for any reason you don’t pay the import or duty charges, then we have the right to charge you for any additional costs that might be charged to us because of this. 

What happens if the pre-order runs over it's allocated date?

Should this occur we will advise you via email where you may cancel for a refund or await the new date with quick delivery service.

What will happen should I order a pre order item, and one that is in stock? 

As we can't split orders this would mean the whole order needs to go on hold until the pre-order item is received into the warehouse. Should you not wish for this to occur and would like to receive your other item first, then please order these separately. 

POST-PURCHASE

Can I track my order?

Yes, tracking is provided based on the form of shipping you chose during checkout. You can log into your LAKITE account portal to track your delivery.

For security reasons all our shipments require a signature at delivery. 

How will I know my order has gone through?

We will send an order confirmation email as soon as the order is successfully complete. 

Do I get refunds on customs fees?

Please note that if you are requesting a refund for an item you paid duty for, we are unable to refund the duty as it is not collected by us. Duty is refunded by your local customs upon your direct request to them. We are unable to request the refund of your duty on your behalf. 

Can I amend or cancel my order

Cancellation requests are required within hours of order confirmation. We require notification as soon as possible ahead of shipping notification email. We are happy to take amendments such as adding to your order at any time. For both queries, please contac orders@lakite.co with your order number and request.

How do I care for me shoes

We recommend taking proper measures to care for the specific kind of material.

How to take care of your leather shoes: It is highly recommended to waterproof your leather shoes to prevent eventual damage from the rain.  

Suede/ Nobuck Leather Clean with a soft brush or a hard sponge. This kind of leather can be protected with treatment sprays or anti-dust sprays.Do not wash/ Bleach/ Dry Clean.

Leather/ Patent Lether/ Antic Leather Wipe with a dry cotton cloth. Uncolored wales or creams can be used.Do not wash/Bleach/Dry Clean. 

How to take care of your satin shoes Gently wipe away any dirt or debris. Next, mix your cleaning solution/gently liquid soap, dip your towel into it and begin to rub it gently against your satin shoes. Continue cleaning with a towel until you've removed stains.
